So we are bidding on this house. Its pretty sweet. Needs some work, but everything in our price range does. I hope we get it, I would really like to move. Living here is putting lots of unnecessary stress on our marriage. I will talk more about the house as it unfolds.
Work is going well. Except I am finding that Cory, this kid I work with fails at life. There are important things that he did not tell me as he was teaching me things. Mostly about how to handle specific things with specific customers but still. FAIL!!!
Oh and I am typing this while using Ubuntu. My first experience with Linux. Its not bad, I think that I could grow to like it. I can attest that my computer seems to be running smoother with Ubuntu running rather than windows xp. I think I will make a dual boot system and fuck around with it some more. |

I've been at work for 24 of the last 48 hours. Isn't my life awesome! I am so bored right not I would welcome someone to come paint so I could watch it dry. Some one shoot me now!!!!

Today is my first day working at NAP by myself. Its been interesting. Greg was here for a while but then left. Other than that its been just me. Not a whole lot to do just playing around on the internets.
Oh its Valentine's Day. So happy Valentines Day to everyone. Couple if strange things have happened today! I get to work today on the above mentioned holiday which happens to be the first Valentine's day that Catherine and I have had since we were married. Oh and did I mention that it is a 12 hour shift. from 7-7. If that didn't suck enough I have to be back for another 12 hours tomorrow, so we can't really even go out tonight and do much. Then after I get to work. I here that part of our room was flooded, nothing was affected of ours. Mostly went under the bed I think.
So on to tonight. It was Catherine's year to decide what we were doing for V day. I believe given the limited time we have, we are going to catch dinner and a movie.

I quit my job at HomeSmart from Xcel Energy. The reason behind that is that NAP (Network Access Products) that was my part time nights job. Offered to bring me on full time. I didn't want to leave Xcel mostly because the people are great. But it was time for me to get on with my life. I wouldn't be going anywhere there (more than likely). I had been a temp for just over a year with no hiring me on in sight. So when NAP offered full time with holiday pay, vacation, and benefits. Also a 25% raise in pay. How could I say no. Catherine and I also really want a house. This change in my work will also get us there. Oh and its only a 7-10 minute drive to work. YAY to that. After I interviewed for this NAP position. It snowed pretty bad and one morning it took me 1.5 hours to get to Saint Paul for work. I will def not miss that. :p
So were house hunting now that I have a permanent position with NAP. I will keep you all posted on that as it unfolds. |

So I changed my mind on the TV. I bought a 42" Samsung 720p Plasma. Its awesome. Until further notice. Just to let you know further notice is never coming.

So, Today I work. What a surprise right?? Well today I am working at NAP inc. The crazy thing about that is that I am actually working today! Normally there isn't anything to do but there has been some shit that went down today! VOIP went down for a store had to raise hell with quest. That was interesting. SC's enterprise reports were not working so they couldn't see what the company numbers were and whats sold not sold. Its been interesting. |

Samsung 37" 720p LCD model LN37A450, also I have decided that I am going to be upgrading my DVD player with the TV to a blu ray player. I figured what the hell. Might as well. I'm going to have a HD TV might aswell us it right?
So my work, is hard up for new customers. So they made a deal with us, they will give us 5 bucks for every new customer that we sign up for our HomeSmart plan. The only kicker is that they are going to give it to me in a gift certificate so its not taxable. Which is good, not complaining about that. But i think I am going to have to by the TV from crutchfield now. Again no big deal, shipping is free and its 100 bucks less there then at bestbuy. So I guess my point is that when we are all said and done, my work is going to be paying for a little more than half of this new tv and blue ray player. Which by my count is THE SHIT. YAY 50% off. |

I started at Network Access Products inc. A couple weeks ago. Yesterday is my first day on here by myself. It was ok. Today is better. Its slow and gives me time to help people with things. The phone has not rang since I have been here for Select Comfort so I am working emails. Or were working emails since I have completed them. |
